These two songs have been added to my life-soundtrack lately. For some reason they both really suit my mood(s) of late...

Also, I just watched Tartovsky's The Stalker.... and, wow. I may have to watch that a few more times.
I haven't forgotten my endless soundtrack project, I've just been a bit busy/ distracted/ too hot to think. So what's next?
I think this song needs to play in a dramatic scene in a downscale pub, eh?

This is for the end of the film when everything is uncertain and the possibilities are limitless. That's a terrible ending. But don't worry, this is a trilogy in the style of Bleu-Blanc-Rouge: unrelated plots but all with beautiful French women in the lead.

I met Ben Lee when he was about 15 years old. He was an Australian wunderkind on his first world tour and agreed to perform on my friend's public access live music show Rock! Rock! Rock!
He's all grown up now. This track was recorded at a live radio session for KEXP. It's for the part of the film where things are not working out the way they were supposed to.
Instead of the somewhat over-used Shins, I choose the oft neglected Rogue Wave. This song seems to lend itself to some sort of frollicking. Outdoors.

This song is quite atypical for Low, and I love it. It goes with the "burying the hatchet" scene of course.
