floating, bobbing fortune cookies... no text. I find myself mildly hypnotized, and yet I still don't want to click. I may have to move my blog to blogspot or typepad if the ads continue to insult my intelligence.
right - you can't have "friends" on blogspot, can you? I suppose the deciding factor is whether community is an important part of my blogging experience - I mean there's facebook for that. I wouldn't want to lose touch with my vox friends, but the ads really are starting to annoy me.
Blogspot is set up differently that way, yes, as well as yes about community being a desired part or not of the blogging experience. I for one like Vox. It's more interactive and community-ish than blogspot (rather, you can determine the level of community you desire) ... but does not come with the "community overkill" of facebook, twitter or myspace (which has never even made it on my list). I like Vox because I get just the right amount of community involvement while still maintaining my autonomy, space and privacy. Everyone's different of course and what works for one person won't for the next.
yeah, I agree, i just feel the audience being targeted is slipping into the gutter. and I enjoy this little community, but I might consider a different format if I decide to blog more "seriously", as in, about something other than my daily life.
