Theengs on Tewsday

I can wake up without coffee now. - wow! impressive! or scary! or both! - lol. sounds like things continue to move in a positive direction. good on ya. though i still don't know how you manage without the alcohol!

No coffee? At all? Jesus, woman.

If at a later date you do want to lose weight, you might look into changing the types of food your eating, and the amounts of each: less fruit, more fiber, less dairy, more veggies...but for now, everything seems to be making you feel so good and so strong and so focused, I wouldn't change a thing!

Are you following a specific plan for eating, or just generally whole food goodness?
I'm following a plan in a book called The 4 Week Ultimate Body Detox, which basically cuts out all sugar, dairy, meat, wheat, alcohol, and caffeine (except green tea). I start every morning with lemon water, followed by cranberry juice & fiber, then I only eat fruit until afternoon (I prefer a big smoothie). The rest of my meals are veggies/ grains (not wheat!)/ beans/ legumes. I allow sushi, though it probably has tons of mercury - so not often. Each week I drink a different herbal tea blend to support different phases - kidney, bowel, lymph system, liver, gall bladder, skin, lungs. I also take digestive enzymes with each meal and something called Cellfood in water. Plus a few other supplements like vit C, lecithin, omega 3s, probiotics. It's a lot of attention to timing water/ supplements/ meals, but it seems to work!
Cool, thanks!
Wow - that must take a lot of planning. How long did it take for the energy boost to occur?
Ten days, give or take. I also did about 5 hours of yoga over the first weekend, so that may have helped!
