QotD: Weekend Plans
What are your plans for the weekend?
I plan to relax.
I plan to take care of myself. Today I am starting a 7 day cleansing fast that goes something like:
1 - warm water with lemon juice
2 - diluted fruit juice, herbal tea
3 - fruit juice, vegetable juice, fresh fruit, herbal tea
4 - fruit juice, vegetable juice, fresh fruit, steamed vegetables, steamed rice, herbal tea
5 - fruit juice, vegetable juice, fresh fruit, steamed vegetables, steamed rice, herbal tea
6 - fruit juice, vegetable juice, fresh fruit, steamed vegetables, steamed rice, herbal tea
7 - fruit juice, vegetable juice, fresh fruit, steamed vegetables, steamed rice, herbal tea
Then I plan to wait another week to add back wheat and dairy... sushi diet, yum!
I plan to do enough cleaning at home that I will feel happy leaving my apartment Tuesday morning.
I plan to go see Manufactured Landscapes at SIFF tomorrow and pick up all of my SIFF tickets.
I plan to run a few errands.
I plan to put away my clean clothes.
I plan to have some quality parrot time and give her cage a scrub.
I plan to go to the park to read. I am going to finish the kind-of-dull novel I'm reading and start on something less dull.
I plan to clean out my kitchen cupboards and scrub my kitchen floor.
I plan to take at least one long bath.
I plan to do about 2 hours of work on Monday to fend off anxiety about the crazy next four weeks.
I plan to do all of my dishes so that I can enjoy the fact that no food = few dirty dishes.
I plan to do some yoga and go for a short run and a long walk (no hardcore exercise while fasting).
I plan to beat my rug aggressively.
I plan to start/ continue a few writing projects.
I plan to talk to my mom on the phone.
I plan to spend very little time looking at my laptop screen.
I plan to listen to Benny Goodman while I clean my apartment.
