getting rid of it

[this is good]

Congrats!! I'm glad to do my small part to help too ;-)

I alllllways feel so much better when I get rid of a bunch of stuff I haven't looked at in years. It's like an albatross around your neck. Which is what I am experiencing now, but I hope to get a start on a big haul-out for the end of the year and beginning of next. I get tired of not being able to walk in my house! yikes.

yey yey yey for you!!! isn't it wonderful?!?! and no, it's not strange at all. i've been advocating simplicity for a long time in part because it's so darn liberating. spread the word! :)
I have a hard time parting with "stuff" and always feel so liberated doing it. Right now I am going through a phase of being ruthless and damn it feels good. My house is tidier, my clutter is less and I don't have to be annoyed with all kinds of stuff sitting around that I don't use.
brilliant! what a great feeling, space to breathe and cash in hand. :)
No, it's not weird. I purged my closet recently and was so happy to be able to get rid of three bags of stuff. I plan on doing a lot more during semester break.
I went to Everyday Music yesterday and they had a lot more Cinerama and the Wedding Present than usual in their recent arrivals section. I also saw the Fairport Convention and a few others I recognized from your collection. I didn't see a mint condition Blue Snaggletooth, though.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! That is Awesome! You are my new hero!
@Then - Your comment intrigues. May I make an inquiry? What is the feeling and/or what need is met by having "stuff?"
