ya gots too much stuff, Kitty! Nobody could keep that much stuff in order.
Yep. I know. I am downsizing!
[this looks familiar]
i'm ... i'm speechless. are those bedroom drawers usually open? or were those arranged for the photo shoot?
Dresser drawers are often left open. I grew up in an environment where that kind of thing is so normal that I don't even see it. When I make a conscious effort to look, I will close them. I also leave cupboards standing open often. It's like I don't have the gene that makes me see those things, though I certainly intend to close drawers, etc.
would you believe mine is a bit worse? wait, you have entered the front door... you have seen mine!
fascinating.
Yes, I've seen yours, and I admit to feeling somewhat better about myself when I walked in! Actually, your place reminds me a lot of some of my relatives places - you're a collector and have tons of cool stuff, just maybe too much of it.
I am a collector too, but have a gene which causes me to collect and hoard, then hide it in an organized way. Like, I have tons of crap, but it's organized into bins. I'm moving this weekend and the thought of packing is painful. So I'm on Facebook instead. Guess what I use to pack stuff? Bins!
P.S. Cool to see another Tom's of Maine deodorant user, and the brown paper towels - some people don't realize they don't need to buy bleached paper products. Thanks for letting us peak into your life like this. I don't think I would be so brave.
Where's the new place?
Haha! Amen! I am purging little by little. I have three HUGE boxes of stuff to give away, and about 7 to sell. but it still looks really cluttered....
North of Northgate. I can't wait to live in a house again. However, the problem of taking stock of all of my stuff (including storage) is evident since the new house isn't huge, and I will be sharing it with another person...
